After seeing The Story Of Stuff on Youtube over a decade ago I was inspired by the message and wrote a series of tunes around some of the main aspects of the video. All of them except this one was performed by Albino! This one needed to wait for Strike Iron to be born.
Golden Arrow Is a fictional story telling the tale of a man who met a woman in his dreams. They spent years together in the dream world where she showed him a possible future based on our current path of ecological destruction due to capitalism. When he woke up the next day he met a women and they fell in love. They had similar outlooks in life that led them to live in a way that minimized their impact on the planet but the general public wasn't changing how strong capitalism's influence was on the daily life of society as a whole. Just before the women passed away she told the man that she was who he met in his dreams, that she was Mother Nature embodied in the human form and that he must pass on this story in a last effort to save the future of human kind.
